Jane Fonda recently spent an evening with 22 Atlanta women who paid $1,000 each in exchange for some girl talk.

11Alive News anchor Karyn Greer spoke one-on-one with Fonda about life after Ted, her pregnancy prevention charity and the future.

Inside the mansion of former Falcons star Chris Chandler, 22 women packed their jammies and mattresses for the ultimate pajama party with Jane Fonda.

It was Fonda’s fifth pajama party, an event organized to help her raise money for her Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention (GCAPP) and also dish with the girls.

"I like it ‘cause I like people and it's always interesting. I meet new friends,” she said.

During the party, Fonda addressed her marriage with ex-husband Ted Turner.

"Monogamy becomes him. He looks great," she said. "We're friends I tell you, what when you've spent 12-years or 10 whatever. How many years was I with him? It seems like a lifetime. Anyway, if you've been married to someone it seems a shame not to remain friends. And we are friends, and I love his kids a lot."

When asked about a new boyfriend, she said, “Honey, frankly I don't care if I ever have another beau again. And, I have not even thought about it. No.

Fonda said she could have been a better mother, adding that the regret served as motivation for establishing her foundation.

“I could have done better frankly and I think one of the reasons that I do what I do now is that you teach what you need learn,” she said. “I was not such a great parent especially for my first child.”

“I have a daughter who is about to have my second grandchild. She's 33 and my son is 29. And, what I would have done differently with both of them is when I was home, I would have
really been home,” she said.

"I grew up in Hollywood in homes like this. The problem with homes like this is parents live in one wing and the nanny and kids live in the other wing, and there the twain shall meet, and kids get into trouble,” she added.

Fonda said she has learned lessons through her life and experiences.

"I'm almost 65. It's been about four years that I realized guess what I'm a single woman and I feel just fine. Thank you. ‘Better late than never.’ That's the message. Sometimes it takes along time to learn the lessons,” she said.

Fonda said she plant to go back to work, adding that financially, it is something she has to do. She may soon appear on a popular cable television show and in a movie based on Susan Minot’s novel, “Evening.”

The pajama party helped raised $22,000 for GCAPP.
