Put on your aerobics shoes as you probably have this tape hidden in your video collection!
This month, I have purely exercised with "Workout", and I really feel the results and especially feel toned around my abdominal area.
It is Jane's first aerobic class to be sold on VHS and is still the highest sold video in all time, this was based on her best selling book. With 21 other workouts to choose from, it is easy to over look this video in favour of Jane's more recent classes. However, as I have found, it is still a brilliant body toning and fat losing workout. Not surprisingly, this is still extremely popular.

Jane pioneered the two level principle in the video world, the first class being for beginner's, and the second being for advanced. You will find this very useful for working out to your level of ability.
You should start with beginner's class unless you have had considerable exercise experience. When you manage to complete this workout with out strain, move up to the advanced.











Class one is 35 minutes long and when used properly, will train your body for fat burning, endurance, posture, flexibility and toning. When combined with a healthy diet, you can expect to see a difference with in the second week of use* You'll feel muscles you never knew you had! As progression continues, the metabolism will raise - and thus will be able to burn fat quicker. I have a very slow metabolism, but I won against it and managed to lose 75 pounds using this workout.

How hard is it?
The first class has been designed for the beginner, the steps and repetitive moves simple, not complicated or "dancy" at all. When you do complete class one with no problem, small ankle weights during floor work, and wrist weights during standing work, can be worn for added resistance until you are ready to move to class two.









Class two 53 minutes long, and intense. If you have already done the beginners class, you will continue to see results. If you are at a fit level and start the advanced class first, you can add weights to intense the class or use it as a maintenance workout, to keep your body healthy.

How hard is it?
Pretty hard, but if you have managed to progress through class one, with no trouble, then your body will be ready for this!
