| Michael
Performed with the Jackons in "Jane
Fonda's Workout" |
|
So
its not surprising to hear sales of his
albums (including Thriller) have made it
back on to the top 100 sales board in the
United Kingdom.
What has come as a surprise is to see the
sudden reinvested interest in Jane Fonda's
two first two audio workouts in which Michael
Jackson performs.
Since the interview airing on British screens,
we have been inundated with requests for
the whereabouts of the audio "Workout"
and "New and Improved Workout"
And since Thursday, emails akin to the requests
from our British friends have been pouring
in from across North America.
They are becoming more rarer on ebay - especially
"New Workout" which can't be found
very often.

| Why
did Jane use Michael Jackson on the first
two audio workouts?
It most certainly wasn't to ride off
the popularity of Michael's singing career,
as the workout had already proven its self
as a best selling book - which made the
New York Times bestseller list.
It was probably because Jane enjoyed
his music, among others which were on the
aerobic records.
In 1983, (when it was cool to wear legwarmers..you
remember) Jane presented Michael with an
award for sales of his album.
Part of her presentation speech:
"He's the only artist I know that you
can listen to, dream to and workout to -
and I do all three." - Jane, 1983 |
