Interestingly,
she gave up on it after a few attempts at the
Beginner's Workout. Concurrently, I was looking
for an excercise program for myself to burn fat,
get some cardiovascular exercise, and build muscle
tone. I started with the Beginner's Workout and
did it religiously 3 to 4 times a week for at
least six months. I then graduated to the Advanced
Workout, which took me some time to fully master
in form and without stopping. But after a while
I was able to do it perfectly, and to this day
(20 years later) I am still doing it every opportunity
I get. Since that time, I lost 30 pounds and never
gained it back. I am lean and toned and my health
is excellent. (Not bad for pushing 53.)

all of these years, my wife wonders why I am not
bored stiff doing those same moves (and to music
that is pretty outdated). My answer: IT STILL
WORKS!! In fact, I have tried many other workouts
over the years, but none of them have been as
effective and so I always come back to the original.
Unfortunately, I was forced to make copies of
the original VHS tape since it was beginning to
wear out.
So I say: PUT THIS OUT ON DVD!! I find it hard
to believe that a video that was once the biggest
seller in history, wouldn't rank as a prime candidate
for a DVD reissue, if only for posterity's sake.
Thank you Jane for so many years of improved health
(both mental and physical)and increased stamina
and strength! I plan on doing this workout for
many more years to come! |
