You don't look so good! bt The Editorial TeamJane in "The Morning After"
What an obscure article many of you are probably thinking; workouts for a hangover? Why would anyone in their right mind willing workout the morning after a party? Up until three days ago, I would agree.

We've all been there.. we know there's an important working, business or social engagement tomorrow morning, and make a point of stay in, bed early, up early. Then of course, you get a phone call, it would be conceited to say "begging you to come out" but in many cases this is the truth, and you are left feeling obliged to make the one stop, for one drink visit. You arrive home, 3.00 AM, and look like death for your meeting just 6 hours later.

This happened to me only two days ago, for a friend's birthday party. I had no intention of attending as I work in film and media, and had a photo shoot the next day for a publicity shot, which was of ultra importance.
I arrived at 6.00 PM for a quick drink, and [as you may have guessed] came home, 3.00 AM.
The result? Horrendous puffy face, oily skin and crows feet from no where.
I managed to beat it though, and the following day, no one was the wiser...

Action Plan
The hardest part of this entire plan is getting up early. You'll need to get up at lease two hours before your leaving home to incorporate a workout and revitalize your face.
So, wake-up early.

1. The first action we need to take to start with the skin, this is the envelop of our body, and contributes at lease 85% to our appearance. This is the first of three courses of action we'll take with the skin. Drink lots of water, to flush out the toxins & lingering alcohol, and re hydrate you - muscles don't work as well when they're dehydrated, and wrinkles develop easier with dry skin.

Dry toast.2. You have an empty stomach to fill. Yet at the same time, we can't fill it too much as we also have aerobic workouts to be performed - when you eat a large meal, and forego waiting two hours to start a workout, your body diverts its attention, energy and the blood supply to the stomach to aid in the digesting of the food. This leaves one feeling quite ill and tired.
It's a well known fact that dry toast is one of the best things for a hang-over. It is a complex-carbohydrate, meaning it will release energy slowly during the day (though it would be silly to let one piece of toast fuel you from nine to five!)

It will also line the gut to absorb any left-over alcohol from the night before (by the way, if you eat toast, bagels, bread or a bun before going out to party and drink, it will absorb the alcohol and you won't feel as bad as your friends, the next day!).

3. Get dressed, it's time for a workout!Start Up - Ballet with Jane Fonda
The workout(s) will do many good things. It will restore your glow, aid in sweating out toxins and puffiness, reduce your fat and revitalize your body.
Obviously, it is may be hard to go straight into a demanding intermediate-high impact workout (like New Workout) therefore do two workouts, the first being the "primer".
The primer workout is short aerobic program designed to mobilize your body, making it far receptive to a harder workout. Two brilliant classes spring to mind.
Jane Fonda's Abs, Buns and Thighs The first is Start-Up. This is a ballet class by Jane with occasional short aerobics. The class lasts less that 25 minutes and once you've finishedd, you'll be able to handle a taxing class.
The second is Abs, Buns and Thighs. This 25 minute class may be all you need this particular morning. The class is split in to three parts, high, medium and low impact. Between dance songs, you'll do toning exercises.
Because your 're doing ab crunches in Abs, Buns and Thighs, pressure is created on the neck and lower head area. This tones and tightens this area, reducing puffiness.

4. Second workout!
After "the primer" workout, you are now ready for a full on class. From experience (not to insinuate I am one for partying all night and pulling a recovery on a regular basis!) the tougher the workout, the better you come out. And this is true for any situation. I prefer the toughest aerobic program, workout challenge, but I recommend New Workout, which is still challenging, effective and will give the results you need. The main aim is to break into sweat. It releases the toxins.
During the class, you'll take in a great deal of oxygen, and set your metabolic rate on a high for the day.

5. Class over, time for shower.
Avoid showering before a workout, as you'll be sweaty, probably smell of sweat and won't wear clothes as well. Be sure to pay attention to your face. Use a cleansing cloth, which removes the bad oils from your face. You may even try a face pack. Though, do avoid any rubberized face masks. Did you know through regular use of the elasticized face masks, your skin will actually become slacker? This is because of the pulling of the skin created when you remove the mask. Opt for a clay or non peel mask.

6. Dry off, time to go.
You've everything needed to transform yourself in a short amount of time. This shouldn't be used to substitute a healthy way of life, but we've all been in this position. And this article should make it easier!
During the day, get a good meal to maintain your glow. And remember to replenish your sleep that night!
