It's SO 1983...
The Yoga craze that's swept across the western world and made room for pilates has given us a new fitness fashion culture of baggy draw string cargo pants and powder blue cheese clothe vests with "breathe" written on the front, leaving us all to look like a sad religious cult that never took off in popularity.
K-Mart
has started selling yoga vests and
matching faux canvas pants, marking the death of the "Jennifer Aniston goes to a health farm look"
People just don't make vast amounts of effort any more to workout... a Nike T-shirt, popper pants and we're done.
So it isn't surprising that 80's workout wear is finally making a come back, and Jane Fonda Workout Apparel is getting hotter.

That 80's Fonda Look
Jane Fonda is a pop and style icon of the 80's. If you want to start dressing up for the gym and aerobics, here are some rad tips.

Accessorise & Combine
Take one leotard, pair of tights, leg warmers with matching belt and some white Reeboks now you have the perfect combination for the basic 80's look.
There are several 80's looks you can go for.

The Dancers Look
The dancers look is what started it all off. You will need simple colours, neon is not an option. Stripes are the flavour if you want to add more to this ensemble.

Aerobics Power Look
Wild patterns of neon pinks, blues, light greens mixed with touches of grey jersey knit sporting the Jane Fonda Workout logo take over in this look to die for. Add a red or black belt with matching leg warmers and you become the one that sustains energy throughout long aerobics.

The Blonde Perm

Working with dance costume designer, Theoni V. Aldredge (far left) who understands how to construct clothes that move on the body - Jane brought out a popular line of workout clothes in 1984. Jane Fonda Workout Apparel supplied the clothes for many of her popular workouts
