| Combine
the following ingredients in a blender.
1 cup of non-fat milk or apple juice (when using
milk, you might want to add 1/4 cup of apple juice
as a sweetener)
About 3 - 4 frozen strawberries, or 1/3 cup of blueberries
or peaches (never with syrup!)
1/2 a fresh banana
1 teaspoon wheat germ or bran.
1 - 3 table spoons of protein powder, preferably
made from milk and egg protein, with no sugar, artificial
colouring or flavour added.
A few ice cubes if the fruit isn't frozen.
Optional: 1/4 papaya (the more fruit you add, the
more juice or milk you may want to add too)

Blend all this together until smooth and thick
Fonda's Salt substitute
3 oz powdered vegetable broth. 1/4 teaspoon
garlic powder. 1/8 teaspoon Oregano. 1/4 teaspoon
dillweed. 1/4 teaspoon paprika 1/4 teaspoon honey
fructose. 1/4 teaspoon marjoram. 1/2 teaspoon powdered
kelp. 1/8 teaspoon ground celery seed. 1/4 teaspoon
five pepper blend. 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard.
Grated lemon peel to taste.
Mix all ingredients and store in closed container
in dry place. This blend of seasonings is low in
sodium but not completely sodium-free, so be sure
to sprinkle on lightly for flavour
